All in all, Jack isn't Matthew, obviously, but his acting is so real that I really love to see him playing (not to mention the fact that he is really handsome...). I motivi sono diversi ma sicuramente il principale è quello della finale "secca" che contraddistingue il football dagli altri sport statunitensi come il basket con le sue 7 partite di finale, il baseball con le World Series opppure l'hockey. Questo è anche il motivo per il quale gli spot pubblicitari trasmessi durante la partita sono i più cari del mondo. Generalmente nella città che ospita il Super Bowl, i prezzi di hotel ed appartamenti in affitto salgono alle stelle. Niente di paragonabile a qualsiasi evento sportivo europeo. Quando una città degli Stati Uniti dichiara il "completo" per ognuno dei propri hotel e motel, potete immaginare l'apocalitticità della situazione. I biglietti più economici, quelli che da noi sono definiti come "terzo anello", sono stati venduti a partire da 2500 dollari. Il bagarinaggio, più o meno legale, è all'ordine del giorno, basta dare uno sguardo a siti come Ebay oppure ad altri più specializzati nella vendita di biglietti per avere un'idea del fenomeno. Da sottolineare, inoltre, la presenza dei "Luxury Box". Sconosciuti in Europa, si tratta di veri e propri miniappartamenti dai quali è possibile vedere la partita con amici e parenti. Sono dotati ovviamente di ogni tipo di comfort e, a seconda dell'orario, possono proporre buffet ed aperitivi oppure servirvi la cena. Assieme a diverse star, tra cui Ellen Degeneres e Tom Selleck, alla festa di apertura delle rinnovate Chanel fashion and fine jewelry boutiques al Ala Moana Center, c’erano anche Yunjin Kim (Sun) e Emilie de Ravin (Claire), che facevano shopping durante una pausa dalle registrazioni di Lost, telefilm culto che verrà trasmesso a breve anche dalla Rai. La boutique, enorme e su diversi livelli, è tra le novità dell’anno per Chanel, assieme a quelle di Hong Kong e Dubai. E’ stata trasformata dall’architetto Peter Marino in modo da sembrare ancora più grande, con giochi di specchi e gioielli, per un vero tuffo nel lusso, con la possibilità per l’occhio di spaziare in tutto il negozio. Al centro c’è anche un caminetto, in onore a Coco Chanel, le cui fiamme sono in realtà colonne di cristalli e brillanti. Nel settore gioielli, da segnalare il vestito nero e la collana in oro bianco e diamanti indossati da Nicole Kidman nello spot per la Chanel in stile Moulin Rouge. I clienti hanno anche avuto le esclusive prime di un anello Comet in oro bianco e diamanti, e un orologio in ceramica bianca in edizione limitata, per celebrare l’apertura della boutique. Mostrando più interesse per il settore borse, Kim e de Ravin hanno avuto la possibilità di provare borse e gioielli.
